Born in Austria in 1971, Ms. Gruber has worked as a makeup artist, lighting
technichian, and assistant director in theaters all over Europe before moving
to new york in 1997, where she attended and gratuaded with honors from
The School of Visual Arts in New York.
Since 1997 she has produced, directed and edited ten films including the
recently released “Dave Holland” (2004) , and “Dein Feld” (2005).
Ulli won numeus awards including: the Human Spirit Award 2005 presented
by the national board ofro review of American Film and Motion Pictures, Best
Jazz Short Documentary Award/Kansas City Film Festival, Best
Cinematogtaphy/ Chix with Flix Film Festival, NYC, William Arkell Memorial
Award. Her work has been screened at numberous international festivals.
Ulli resides in New York and works as a Director, Assistant Director,
Production Coordinator and Edtior. |
